Chris Hill

Chief Technology Officer & Managing Director Asia Pacific

Biography

As Chief Technology Officer, Chris Hill has overall responsibility for the strategy, selection, testing and implementation of all technology platforms. Chris also serves as the Managing Director for the company’s business across the Asia Pacific region.

Prior to ITC Global, Chris served as a senior telecommunications engineer and consultant with extensive experience in urban, rural and remote environments. He served as the lead architect on a number of infrastructure projects for both commercial and Australian government organizations.

As an innovator in the application of new information and communications technology, Chris has been the first to successfully implement new technologies in the demanding environments of the mining, energy and maritime markets. Mr. Hill’s work has been recognized by the prestigious Western Australian Information Technology and Telecommunications Awards. He was recognized initially with two awards in 2002 and in 2004 for infrastructure projects for the Australian government and again in 2009 and 2012 for the application of satellite communications in remote mining operations.

Mr. Hill holds an MBA in Technology Management from La Trobe University, a Master of Engineering from RMIT, with undergraduate studies in Electronic Engineering and Business. Chris is a senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers.


By leveraging the Panasonic network, ITC Global is setting the new standard for satellite networks with near 100% uptime and 10MB of throughput.
